I like to think that my friend is right. That I have it all under control.
But I have also struggled with the pressure on the inside.
Overthinking, overreacting, and overfunctioning were my default settings. And they were slowing sucking the joy out of all my hard work.
Yet running kept teaching me something powerful:
The body could only go where the mind allowed it to go.
So I started training that too.
I borrowed from breathwork, visualization, performance psychology, self-hypnosis, affirmations, and neuroscience-based cognitive techniques used by elite athletes around the world.
I trained my mind the exact same way I trained my body. Small, consistent work over time.
It's called cognitive conditioning. And it changed everything.
This practice has been a gift I have given myself. The results? They are even more impressive than a sub-3-hour marathon.
And now I'm sharing this practice with you.

The brain does not care about what you want. It cares about what you repeat.
The brain prioritizes safety, familiarity, and efficiency over success or truth.
Neural pathways strengthen based on repeated thoughts, actions, and emotions. Whatever is repeated becomes the default, regardless of whether it is negative or positive.
That means you can effectively program your own brain through consistent intentional training.
Or you can do nothing and old patterns will continue to dominate.

Begin With Ten is a three-part series. Each course is a separate 30-day guided mental conditioning cycle designed to strengthen the way you think, regulate emotion, direct attention, and move through uncertainty with more steadiness.
Begin each day with just ten minutes of active brain work designed to change your mind in the best way possible.
Because the brain responds the same way the body does.
What you practice becomes easier to access.
What you repeat becomes more automatic.
It's structured cognitive conditioning
Train your mind just like you train your body.
With each course, you'll begin an active 30-day guided mental conditioning cycle, just like an athletic cycle for your body.
Your structured cognitive conditioning training plan builds rep by rep, day by day, week by week.
All in just 10 minutes a day.

Each day includes one ten-minute active audio session built around a specific mental training principle drawn from neuroscience, cognitive trainining, breathwork, and performance psychology.
Every session is short enough to do daily so you can progressively build mental muscle.
You take ten minutes for yourself, press play, and train.
This is cognitive conditioning.
Simple enough to repeat. Strong enough to change you.
who this is NOT for
Begin With Ten is simple and effective, but it is deliberate, intentional work.
If you cannot gift yourself ten minutes without multitasking, this will not be effective for you. (It's okay if you need to miss a day, as long as you can come back the next day.)
The brain responds powerfully to repetition, expectation, and attention, but it takes time, consistency, and a willingness to believe in the process.
Just like building physical fitness.

The Building Blocks
of the Begin With Ten System

Build the foundation first.
Base introduces you to 25 mental performance concepts designed to reshape how you think, respond, and perform under pressure. Yes, 25 is intentionally a lot. This phase is about immersion, not perfection.
Using spoken repetition, audio training, and simple mental cues, you’ll begin replacing automatic stress patterns with calmer, stronger thinking patterns. Over time, these concepts stop feeling like “mindset work” and start becoming your default way of operating.
Build your mental muscle.
Strength narrows the focus to 15 core concepts and adds a guided writing component to deepen the work. This phase is more active, intentional, and personal.
Writing forces clarity. It is scientifically shown to slow down reactive thinking while strengthening the patterns you want to keep.
Just like physical strength training requires resistance, Strength helps you build greater control, resilience, and mental durability under pressure.
Make steady thinking sustainable.
Endurance is where cognitive conditioning becomes lasting performance. This phase focuses on maintaining calm, focused thinking through stress, fatigue, uncertainty, and setbacks.
The goal is not temporary motivation. The goal is consistency. Just as endurance training teaches the body to stay strong late in a race, Endurance trains the mind to stay steady long after things get uncomfortable.

FAQ
The morning is recommended because it sets the tone for the day. It's often the only time the world isn't asking anything of us and we can take a moment for ourselves. It's also been shown to be a better time for habit formation. That being said, any time that you can practice consistently is the ideal time for you.
Knowing something intellectually and practicing it daily are very different things. High functioning people are often very emotionally intelligent from an intellectual perspective, but still may struggle in practice. You already understand more than you likely consistently apply. This is structured neural repatterning, which how to create lasting change.
Yes. Cognitive training does not replace any of those. This is structured repetition to create new pathways. It requires you to take an active role rehearsing more positive patterns daily so they become more automatic in the rest of your life
You can start any day you like after the first session is released. If you miss a day, simply start the next day. If you have the luxury of time, you can complete two sessions in one day, but it's not recommended to do more than that at a time. Just like the body, the brain takes time to change and it cannot be rushed.
Please note that access to each phase is available during the active training cycle. You are encouraged to download and save any materials for future personal use.
Yes. Just like one run won't change your body, one cognitive training session won't change your mind. Change happens with small, consistent investments over time. Belief that you can change and a williness to try will make the difference in whether this works or not for you.
Like any physical training program, if you quit the program early or miss too many days in a row, it will not be effective.
Begin With Ten will be available to you on the date noted above.
This is a 30-day cognitive conditioning course delivered as a private podcast, with new audio workouts released each day. You can listen just like a regular podcast, but Coach Claire will need to manually invite you for access.

Absolutely! Cognitive conditioning is a practice that gets more effective with time.
Each workout is meant to build on each other so it's best that you complete them in order the first time around. If you would like to keep the program for future practice, be sure to download them and save them to your computer. Access to each phase is only available during the active training cycle.
