Recovery snacks for runners should be three things: simple, healthy, and delicious. These are the best recovery bites for runners because they nail all three!
So when RunnersConnect asked me to come up with an easy, plant-based, whole foods, recovery snack for runners to feature on their Instagram Reel, I knew just the recipe!
I enlisted the help of my 10 year-old daughter (and my 11 year-old son behind the camera!) and we popped these perfect little recovery bites out in just a few minutes.
I wrote an earlier post about all the things you should be looking for in recovery foods after a hard run or workout and you can check that out here for more info.
Not only are they great for runners, but kids love them too! Let me know in the comments what you think!
